Cantillon will be aiming to raise £10,000 for Whizz-Kidz young people’s mobility charity when the team climb the three highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales – in just 24 hours. 

Set to climb Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon on 2^nd - 3^rd of July 2011, Cantillon’s team of climbers – comprising of Nick Taylor, Jason Crawley, David Strzelecki, Ian Brooks – are already in training to ensure they are up to the task. Having fund raised £8,000 last year, the target is to fund raise £10,000 for Whizz-Kidz and help provide disabled children and young people with vital mobility equipment.

Since 1990, Whizz-Kidz has changed the lives of nearly 11,000 disabled children by providing them with access to mobility equipment, including powered wheelchairs. The charity also delivers wheelchair skills-training and other life-skills to help their transition from childhood to adulthood.

Whizz-Kidz relies on donations in order to continue providing the services they offer for young disabled people. To show Cantillon’s support for the organisation and the work that it undertakes, it has been selected as the company’s chosen charity for 2011.
