BBC use Cantillon site for New Tricks
Cantillon authorised cast and crew from the popular BBC drama series New Tricks to film at their site in North West London's Stonebridge Estate this month - an area currently undergoing a massive regeneration project. Filming took place alongside Mordaunt House, a tower block undergoing demolition.

The funds are now with the Employment and Social Regeneration team, who as part of their invaluable work within the local community, regularly hold events and activities for children who reside on the estate.

Committed to putting something back into the environment in which it is working, Cantillon is delighted to have had the opportunity to help host a local event. "We are thrilled to have been able to donate this money to the children on the Stonebridge Estate," said Cantillon Director, Jackie Cooke. "Cantillon is committed to sustainability and it is fantastic to be a part of something that gives back to the community in which it works - which in this case, is an estate undergoing huge change for a better future."

Having worked on the site for many years as part of the area's mass regeneration programme, Cantillon has taken part in local labour workshops, neighbourhood events and award ceremonies to celebrate the achievements of local people.

Valued at more than £12.5m, the Stonebridge Estate project involves nine different contracts covered by a framework agreement. Cantillon's teams are demolishing a series of high rise social housing blocks - ranging from five to eighteen floors - to make way for the construction of new properties for the Hillside Housing Trust.

All work is taking place on a densely populated estate, so Cantillon is taking care to minimise the disturbance for the many residential neighbours.

The contract is due to be completed by 2009.
