| Cantillon Welcomes New SHEQ Manager | |
| We are delighted to welcome the arrival of our new Safety, Health, Environmental & Quality (SHEQ) Manager, John Rimmer, to Cantillon. With an MSc in Occupational Health & Safety Management and as a Chartered Member of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health, John brings with him a wealth of experience in many industry sectors. These include construction, rail, nuclear power, manufacturing offices. His notable contracts have included Heathrow T5, London Underground, the Palace of Westminster and Dungeness Power Station. John is looking forward to his new challenging role, "It's an exciting adventure for me. I'm very happy to join Cantillon." Clair Turner, our new SHEQ and Training Administrator, also joined us recently as John's assistant. Clair will be concentrating on implementing a revised and improved training programme across the company. John has already actioned a number of new initiatives including a recycle, re-use and recover waste management plan, where Cantillon pledge to use waste more effectively and reduce landfill to a bare minimum. We are proud of our excellent safety record, but at Cantillon we recognise that training and vigilance at all times prevent accidents. In consultation with every member of the Cantillon staff, John is implementing an improved and comprehensive behavioural safety programme which, following suggestions from our workforce, is named "demolition and safety hand in hand". This is being integrated into all company activities both site and office based. We wish them both all the best in their new roles and are delighted to have them on board.
