To ensure core issues like air and noise pollution, waste and transport fleet movements are constantly monitored; Cantillon operates a site management system to control its daily impact on the environment.
This feedback is analysed at head office and leads to direct improvements throughout the business. Full environmental audits are increasingly undertaken on key projects to examine all of Cantillon's: - Carbon emissions
- Water usage
- Fuel and electricity consumption
- Waste production and recycled/reused quantities
Movement of the entire Cantillon transport fleet - currently being replaced with low emission equivalents - is also planned, regulated and monitored.
This minimizes the company's impact on the ecology of the surrounding area and the number of journeys taking place each day, cutting carbon emissions and fuel consumption. |
